BSL/English Translation Work

Deaf clients can use their Access to Work (AtW) funding or Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) to pay for translation work.   Why not ask your assessor to include our costs in your assessment?

It is worth explaining that:

  • Booking me will be cheaper than using an office based sign language interpreter/CSW.
  • There will be no travel time included as I will carry out the work from home.  In exceptional cases I can travel to the client’s offices.
  • I have several years of education and work related experience.  I am bilingual in both BSL and English, I specialise in written English services for deaf clients.

Extra Information

I have CRB clearance and professional indemnity insurance.  A strict confidentiality policy is followed at all times. Terms and conditions can be provided on request.
